And I save my new vm in /var/lib/vz/images/100/svr-domain.qcow2

How can I move my qcow2 to the big storage?, will I see the imagen int the interface URI?, For assign that image to my new VM.

You are using the disk from the lvm storage, not the directory storage. First you need to add a new disk to the VM on the directory storage. Then you can replace that disk with yours. And as a last step, you can move the disk to the target storage (move disk on the VM).

Hi, thanks for your answer.

So, actually I use the user root to access from windows, with the application WINSCP. But I didn't find the directory storage. Look this image:

So, I'm not need to created an user to access that directory?, I only have one VM: vm-100-disk-1

I tried to copy in /dev/pve/ but it doesn't work. I try to replace vm-100-disk-1 with my recently converted VM.

Could you tell me how I get access to the directory storage in LVM-Thin?, You told me I need to create a new storage.

How can I do that in the directory storage?,

I guess I've done that. But I can find the disk of my VM.

My Physical Volume is /dev/sda3

My Volume group is PVE with format lvm2.

And my logical volume are:
swap /dev/pve/swap 8GB
root /dev/pve/root 100 GB

LV Pool
data
upload_2018-6-12_13-16-36.png

When I created a VM, the disk file is created in the LVPool data, example VM 100

If I connect to the server through winSCP, I see the LV ROOT, but I can't see the LV Pool DATA. So, I copied and converted my VMDK in that disk "root". But Proxmox created the VM in th LV Pool DATA, and I can't find it.

Could you give what command I have to use? Or I can do it WEB Interface?,

Sorry, I'm new using proxmox, and I really want to move all mi VMware machine to proxmox. But I'm stuck with this.

Thanks for your help.

Please read my messages carefully. The first part is either CLI/GUI, the second part is on the CLI (or through WinSCP). The third part can be done on either again.

Directory storage (local): https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/chapter-pvesm.html#_directory_backend
LVM Storage (local-lvm): https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/chapter-pvesm.html#_lvm_backend
Migrate servers to PVE: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Migration_of_servers_to_Proxmox_VE

The docs can be reached either online or through the help button on the PVE GUI.

Please invest more into learning the terms and technologies, as you already discovered, they are different to those used in the VMware terminology.
