Hello everyone, I recently installed Proxmox backup server and connected one of my Proxmox servers to it, the second server kept claiming that it can't connect. I figured it was my 2.5gb NIC and I wanted to switch to the built in gbe NIC. I recently moved and yubico authentication gave me lots of grief, I spent a few hours trying to fix problems in SSH trying to get back in. I figured I would save myself some headache if I would disable yubikey authentication. I disabled it in the realms, but didn't remove the yubikey from my root user. I logged out and couldn't get back in. I should have opened a new browser to test, but I didn't do that. I need help getting back in. Is there a way to disable yubico login using SSH? Thanks for your help!

Here is what I did to fix my issue. Since I have access to SSH, I created a new user named John.

useradd john
pveum user add john --password your-password
pveum aclmod / -user john -role Administrator

login as the new user, then go to realms and add the yubico id and secret. Open a new browser window in private mode and visit your proxmox server and log in with your username, password, and yubikey. Go to your two factor section and make sure to enable recovery keys to prevent locking yourself out in the future. I enabled TOTP, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
