Reading this I have found n o documentation on how actually do this....

I have a SSD on one node (added via "directory"). This also appears on the other nodes of the cluster BUT they can't see the contents.

So what is this new option and how does one use this?

thx in advance

Hi,
the new feature is not for magically making local storage accessible form other nodes. In the past, it was only possible to scan the host on which you were logged in for local storages. The new feature allows scanning other nodes too without needing to log in there first.

You should restrict the directory storage to the node where it's actually available. If you need shared storage, you need an NFS export or similar.

Hi

this is what I have.... Was just wondering what this new update did.

Before the update, you couldn't add a storage that's only present on node B while being logged in on node A in the web interface.
