Reasonable - How reasonable would it be ?

Again as my concern goes, a reasonable hardware should have some specifications ?

Need to bring in some benchmarks or some case studies here.

Spamassassin and Clamd proceses take huge processor resources, hence a good benchmark would serve a major sales data as well.

A reasonable fast hardware is a P4 with 3GHz, equipped with SCSI RAID.

The problem with benchmarks is that they highly depend on the kind of mails you receive. So it is just impossible to say what hardware you need to filter 20K mails a day.

Anyways, we will do some benchmark tests as soon as we have some free resources.
