Load average of the system increased 10x after upgrade to Proxmox 8.2.2.
On 28th on May I've enabled no subscription repository and updated/upgraded packages to latest version 8.2.2
Since the upgrade I noticed a day later that system "load average" increased exponentially without any changes on the VMs or services.

current load average is
0.50,0.50,0.54 while before was 10x lower.

What could cause the load increase?
As seen in the screenshots(one week) load increase started at 13:00 GMT after update and server restart.
CPU, memory usage remain similar.

Probably caused by kernel change, but... what are you worried about?? Your server is using LESS THAN 1 PERCENT of 8xCPU and there is no apparent load on it!

If your loadavg shot up to 10 with nothing apparent going on, that would be something to write about. This sounds like a nothingburger.

I stopped ksmtuned service and the load is back to 0.05 when in idle.

This server runs 5-6 containers and VMs and load is only when services are in use. Most of the time is in idle.

One more update
After some extra investigation I found the cause of the load increase,
It was a unplugged cable from a NAS which is mounted as a smb share on main proxmox server.

I have the same problem as described in this topic. I updated the system from kernel 6.5.13-5-pve to version 6.8.8-2-pve and my system started crashing. it works for about an hour or an hour and a half, and then the load average rises sharply to 1400-2000(but memory does not leaks), despite the fact that on the old kernel it did not rise above 10.
