Since two months I run Proxmox VE 2.0. Well it works very fine..;-) Now I have two questions.
I have 2 nodes what are not connected to eachother. Both have 7 VM's running and the VM id's are unique (node 1 had 100 to 106, node2 has 107 to 114). But for one virtual machine the name of the LVM disk of one of the VM is not unique because I had changed the VMID manually by renaming the mapname in the config directory when the VM was off. Now I want to put the second server in the cluster so the first one is the master is this possible without losing some VM's?
When I have put them in a cluster I want to migrate all of the VM's to another node. The current nodes have no raid configuration. After the migration the new node with raid must be the master so I can cancel the other 2 nodes. Is this possible?
I want migrate without any datalose or downtime (or maybe some seconds).
I hope this is all possible. I hope to hear it from somebody. Thx.
