Here's a quick overview of my setup:
4 Proxmox 1.4 hosts in a cluster
Bonded Gigabit Ethernet with vlans
LV's on top of shared fiber channel storage
Mostly Linux (ubuntu 8.04 x86) VM's
I set these up initially with Proxmox 1.4 beta 1 and live migration worked
beautifully, around 200 ms of higher pings during live migration with no dropped packets.
I upgraded 2 of the hosts to 1.4 beta 2 and then 1.4 final and now live migration between those hosts results in 4 sec of dropped packets.
I havent changed any of the migrate_speed or migrate_downtime settings - the defaults looked ok.
Any ideas on how to get that "no downtime" live migration back?
