So I just got started with proxmox this weekend and am fumbling though it.

I'm using Mint 21.3 linux to host docker and am attempting to get Automated Ripping Machine running. I'm using an LG WH14NS40 contained in an enclosure via a sata to usb3 adapter. I've passed the USB device associated with the DVD enclosure through to the VM through the GUI in Proxmox. I have confirmed that Mint sees the drive, and will read the size of the disc, but I can't for the life of me get it to open/play the disc.

When ARM launches, the log shows that UDEV has an issue in that it can't find tty and thus can't start jobs. In my searching for udev issues, I've seen it being related to virtulization, and I'm wondering if I didn't pass it through to the VM properly?

Any ideas?
