Linux VM Reboot

Hello,

While testing with multiple VM's with different Linux Flavours I have noticed when doing either a "reboot" or " shutdown -r now" in the VM it will completely shutdown and show as off in Proxmox and will not restart / boot back.

Once I hit start within Proxmox the VM starts as normal and no further issues till the next reboot, is this expected behaviour of Proxmox or am I missing a configuration value somewhere (I have looked).

Thanks,
Ashley

I cannot reproduce that behavior. A reboot simply reboots the VM here.

Exactly what I expected to see, which is why I'm wondering if there is a setting somewhere to block restarts @ VM Level, or something that could be causing this.

I have even gone as far as reinstalling the whole node.

*Fixed*

Reboot was set to 0 in Proxmox VM XML, changed to 1 and is now working correctly.
