Limit on the install for disk size?

Is there a limit when installing ProxMox

We have a Raid 50 array with roughly 8TB of disk space
The filesystem shows - but fails the install.

Interestingly enough - if we go down to 2TB - works like a charm
while we can mount the rest - thought it was a bit weird how that worked...

The standard BIOS MBR is limited to 2TB.

The best way to deal with that is to split the RAID into smaller 2TB slices.

gotcha

figured as much - oh well... lvm here we go :-)

BTW - one feature that I think people would love here would be to have the system do is manage disks

While it is pretty easy to do ( fdisk / create ex8 etc.)
I am willing to bet if you gave people the ability to add disks on the fly - and format them it would go over well.

Of course - that is most likely - out of scope.
