Hello,
I just tried the new feature - the Lets Enrypt Web Gui. After putting in my domain, accept the TOS and opening the ports on the external firewall I just got:
"Fetching proxmox.mydomain.tld/.well-known/acme-challenge/-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX: Error getting validation data"

The server is accessible with it's domain name via IPv4 and IPv6. The Webinterface is unchanged on port 8006.

Any ideas?

did you verify that you can access the domain on port 80 from outside your network?

All ports are forwarded to the proxmox host. I can access for example on SSH or the default webinterface on port 8006 without any problem - so port 80 should be able to.

can you maybe post the complete (anonymized) task log here ?

same issue here, the validation data is looking on "http......" where the default manager website only answers to "https" in the browser... "http" in the browser doesn't return a website... does that help any?

I think Let's Encrypt validation looks at port 80 by default. Is your server reachable on port 80?
