KVM Windows (Clock changes after some time)

Hello there,

I'm facing a problem with Windows guest clock.

The problem is that Windows Guest VM is synching with the Host Clock, overwriting the previous time.

I know that when VM starts, it synch by default, and then after startup, VM synchs with a NTP server. But after hours of execution, VM synch again with the Host, overwriting the previous time.

Hi,

what you describe can only happen if you make a Online Migration.
We do not sync the host and the Guest time at runtime. Timekeeping has to be done by the VM.
