KVM: More than 2 serial ports

Hello. We found out we can't start a VM with KVM if more than two serial ports are assigned in /etc/qemu-server/xxx.conf

The bug is reported here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=574051

But it was closed months ago in KVM 0.12.4 while with proxmox there's 0.12.5

Do anyone know how is this solvable?

Please can you try to find out why that bug is not fixed in upstream kvm? Or is it already fixed in git?

I can see the fix. I just want to make sure that the fix is correct. I wonder why it is not
included in the upsteram source:

Please can you ask on the kvm list why that patch is not committed?

Anyways, I expect version 0.13 soon - so we can then test that, and report the bug again if it still not work.
