Hi

Proxmox 1.9

i am running a cluster with 4 nodes in a production system. All KVM machines have IDE Virtual disks on a ISCSI storage with LVM on Top.
The machines are backed up Monday,Wednesday and Friday using SNAPSHOT.

Now i set up a second cluster with also 4 nodes but without ISCSI Storage. This is if desaster strikes and a Earthquake or fire destroys our main site.

I can restore almost all kvm VM's on the second cluster except one: The Domaincontroller.

Backup is always successful, and restore is also successful, but the machine doesn't start. It gives failure:

Booting from Harddisk...
Boot failed: not a bootable disk

What can i do?

sure i have checked it!

Maybe another information:
on that node i have several windows kvm machines running, which are all restored successfull.

now i did a

file vm-105-disk-1.raw (the failing machine) and got:

vm-105-disk-1.raw: LVM Snapshot (CopyOnWrite Store) - valid, version 1, chunk_size 8

on another (running) vm i did:

file vm-113-disk1.raw and got soomething like:

vm-111-disk-1.raw: x86 boot sector; partition 1: ID=0x7, active, starthead 32, startsector 2048,
204800 sectors; partition 2: ID=0x7, starthead 223, startsector 206848, 157077504 sectors

Both are windows 2008 Server. The vm 105 is the DC
