I am not sure if i should care that it's using 60% of a core on a 54 core/ht box, but it still seems egregious.
I can try to tune it but Im nervous Ill cause it to explode with even worse usage or otherwise hobble the box (which has a few vms and lots of ct's)
I have 256GB ram, and while the THRES setting of 20% ram free seems ok, that's a fair chunk (50+GB) free that Im not too worried about being suddenly used when I have 30-45GB free usually anyway. 15 or 10% would be fine. (having that much free ram seems I should be using it for buffers/cache anyway.)
I have default ksmtuned.conf options running, but would like to use these (but am afraid of restarting the service and messing up or locking up the box).
