kernel options howto (serial line redirection)?

for ipmi based serial-port-redirection in order to view the boot process we have to add words like eg "console=tty0 console=ttyS0,19200n8" after the "kernel /vmlinz-2.6.18-2-pve root..." entry in the /boot/grub/menu.lst

we'd like to make sure these console-options are kept for kernel upgrades - any way to do this in a supported way?

Just edit 'kopt' in menu.lst
