Issues, post-install on Intel Mac Mini

After upgrading to the latest Proxmox, I'm having difficulties accessing the GUI.

  • When installing Proxmox 8.1, I had to use the Terminal GUI as the primary GUI is not 'full screen' and therefore I cannot see the 'Next' button.
  • After setting my IP and installing Proxmox, I do not see it on my network. I set a static IP, 192.168.1.5/0, netmask 255.255.255.0, and gateway 192.168.1.1.
  • When I try to use any editor (vi, pico, nano) from the terminal I cannot exit the editor.. they all get into a weird mode. Was going to edit /etc/network/interfaces to switch to a DHCP to see if I could get an IP, but can't even save the edited file.
I had previously installed in an 7.4 version of Proxmox without issue on the Mac-Mini. Has anyone been successful?
