Issues bonding 2 NICs and using it with VMs

Hello,
my Server has 2 NICs.
One is used for the PVE host IP and the other is "free".
I created a bond0 with both NICs (balance-alb), it worked.
Then I wanted to make this bond usable by the VMs. I was not able to select the bond directly so I thought I am creating a virtual Linux Bridge.
This step did not work.

Did I something wrong. Is it not possible to bond the host nic with another and use it VMs?

you simply need to put the bond in the bridge, and use the bridge for the vm.

@spirit That is what I tried but it did not work in GUI. Is there something special to look for?
