Hi,

I have just created a new bridge interface which is bridging a bonded port. When VMS are attached to my first bridge port they can obtain addresses via dhcp and work fine, when i connect them to the second bridged port and restart they are unable to obtain an address or communicate across the bridge. Attached is the output from cat /etc/network/interfaces.

Would welcome any advice or happy to provide further info.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly.
if you write "first bridge port" do you mean vmbr0?

If this assumption is correct then my next question is your switch capable of using Round Robin as bond/lag mode?
RoundRobin is great if the remote supports it too.
If not you have a problem with the order of the packages.
