Hi,
I am currently facing an issue PMG setup. The environment includes a MSExchange server for handling emails.
The issue arises with automatic reply messages sent from MSExchange. Although these messages are correctly signed with DKIM by PMG, I’ve noticed that the email headers are being modified by PMG. Specifically, the "From" address is being changed in the SPF record, where the sender is listed as postmaster@<hostname> instead of the correct MSExchange sender.
As a result, the SPF validation fails, and these emails are being marked as spam by recipients. The SPF record is not validated properly, and this leads to deliverability issues for the automatic replies.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or can anyone offer advice on how to resolve this? I’d appreciate any help or pointers to configure PMG so that the SPF validation works correctly for these automatic replies.
Thanks,
