I recently got a new PC and decided to move Proxmox to that host. All I did was move the SSD from old pc to the new one. But when booting, the screen is stuck at Loading initial ramdisk...

The difference between old and new pc are CPU (Intel 7th gen i7 to 12th gen i5) and memory (16GB to 8GB)

I am able to boot into recovery mode. Are there any steps I need to complete in this scenario? What do I need to do to troubleshoot the issue?

Here is the grub:

I am also seeing this error in journal:

I updated the interface name through recovery mode and the link is up but normal boot is still stuck at Loading initial ramdisk

That shouldn't be possible if it hasn't finished booting. Cached webpage maybe? You'll see the ip address and a login prompt on the console when it's done.

At this point, unless you feel like spending hours or days going down the rabbit hole... you should give serious consideration to reinstalling.
Possibly to another disk, so you still have the configs on the original and can experiment with fixing it in your own time, while still having an up-and-running server.
