Hi Guys,
We have actually configured our proxmox firewall in order to restrict all INPUT access to the cluster and only allowed some services which need public access. We have also blocked the dashboard access to 8006 since exposing this port to the public might be risky. After enabling the firewall everything is working as expected but only the VM console isn't working.
We actually want to enable the VM console access to public users but I can see that the console access URL is loading with the port and 8006 and I think this might be the reason that the "connection is getting refusing" when accessing the console.
So is there any way that we can establish these two scenarios? One is to disable the Proxmox dashboard access to the public and another is to enable VM Console access to the public.
Or is there any way that we can route the VM console access to the custom port?
Please advise anyone. Thanks in advance.
