Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue while trying to add my Proxmox server (version 7.4-18) to Veeam Backup and Replication. I understand that this version is not officially supported, but I have successfully added Proxmox 6.4-15 without any issues.

Here are the details of the problem:
  • When I enter the IP address and credentials for my Proxmox server, I receive the error message: "Failed to reach hypervisor."
  • However, I can connect to Proxmox via SSH from the Veeam server using the same credentials without any issues.
  • To troubleshoot, I have attempted to create additional users in both PAM and PVE, but this has not resolved the issue either.
I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to resolve this connectivity issue between Veeam and Proxmox.

Thank you in advance for your help!
