iSCSI Multipath LVM Issue

I am trying to set up a test Proxmox host with iSCSI Multipath & LVM. Eventually, it will be a 5-node cluster. I can connect to the iSCSI LUN without issue, and I can create the LVM storage on top of the LUN without issue. But the host always shows that the LVM storage always shows up with unknown status and 0b free and total size according to the web UI. It is also never mounted by the host. I can ping the portal IPs on the storage appliance without issue, and a traceroute to both portal IPs shows no surprises (i.e. nothing between the node and the appliance routing traffic). Has anyone ever seen this? I am trying iSCSI instead of multipath NFS because I thought it would be easier, but so far that has not been the case.

Hi @shaunmccloud ,

You said that you want to use iSCSI and Multipath. However, in your description you only mention setting up iSCSI and LVM.
If you want to use Multipath you need to follow the correct steps: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Multipath

If you don't properly set it up, other layers of the storage will be upset, as they will see the same signature from multiple disks.
