iSCSI connectivity issues new HPE servers E5900 All-NVMe storage

Hi @EDSTOBI ,

There are many potential causes for connectivity issues, ranging from BIOS settings and NIC firmware to cabling, switch infrastructure, and kernel compatibility.

Also, note that the link you posted refers to NVMe/TCP connectivity, not iSCSI.

If you can provide a more detailed description of the issue along with the troubleshooting steps you've already taken, someone may be able to offer relevant insights.

Have you reached out to HPE or Hitachi? Unless you're using PVE's Direct iSCSI feature, the key components involved on the PVE side are the Ubuntu Linux kernel and Debian userland.

Cheers!

We have been working with Hitachi for some time to investigate and resolve this issue. HPE is not involved in the process because these machines are branded as Hitachi, making Hitachi fully responsible for their support and resolution.I will gather additional error descriptions and provide further updates on this matter.
