I am trying to install Proxmox VE 6.3 onto Cisco UCS M4 blades with iSCSI boot LUN. I see there is a post and a wiki article about installing to iSCSI boot LUN using PXE. I have no issues installing RHEL and ESXi to this environment. I see Debian 10 claims iBFT can auto configure at install using:
disk-detect/ibft/enable=true partman-iscsi/iscsi_auto=true
However, even with this the Proxmox installer does not see the LUN.
Any pointers on this? The method describe in the previously mentioned post/wiki article appears to be rather ancient and seriously convoluted.
