Can someone please confirm if there is VLAN support for OpenVZ. I am not sure why the project is so secretive about this :(

Thanks Dietmar for the reply - I am a bit frustrated for lack of info. I am on version 3.0 and it's not possible to do it on the GUI. What commands should be run to get it working on 3.0? I do see KVM VLAN on GUI on 3.0 but not container.

I can't afford to get this upgraded to 3.3 at the moment until next weekend but I do need the VLAN to work for tomorrow so I am resorting to command line and I appreciate if you can guide me the command for HOST and Container in regards to VLAN.

I have done the following but it doesn't help and the ifcfg-eth0.4000 is coming up on OpenVZ container but it can't ping the gateway. On router I also see that the IP is not obtained. This is all there is in the documentation.

host # vconfig add eth0 4000
host # vzctl set 40177 --netif_add eth0.4000 --save

Thanks. But isn't that just a infrastructure thing and not all a GUI thing? I thought openvz and mothernode support it anyhow.

P.S. what about this if there is no support:
