Is there a way to convert from non-zfs root to zfs root?

It isn't a big deal, but when I did the initial 4.4 install, I used two SSD on an old LSI RAID controller. I'd like to migrate the install to a ZFS mirror. If there is no good way to do that without a reinstall, I'm fine with leaving it the way it is. Thanks!

I can confirm that the really easiest and fasted way is to reinstall, and copy needed old configfiles. Because you also must reimport the VM's to convert that to an zfsdataset per VM.

There is a way to convert ext2/3/4 in-place to btrfs (see "man btrfs-convert"), but only if you used your disks "directly" (not as part of hw-raid array)...
