On 2 pve 3.0 systems , both with 3ware raid 10 and drbd , we started to have severe storage issues.

We figured that there were hard drive issues. This started on 6/9/2013 .

per 3ware logs, a drive on each system was removed and re added. . On both of the systems a few hours apart.

It got to the point that we ordered and installed new hardware.

When booting from old storage AND when trying to install pve 3.0, we got this error
Code:
irq 16: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option)

trying to install did not show the entire message just part. but after some minutes the install just hung there.

after some searching it was suggested to add things like noapci or add irqpoll to frub config. But I could not boot the system to do that.

so in the motherboard bios setting this fixed the issue : disable 'acpi apic support '. I think it was at advanced chipset ....
