IP Route backup task

I would like to route backups to my PBS through my 10gb NIC. Currently, it is going through my PVE management 1gb port. I am not familiar with IP route command. I appreciate some detail :)

Hi,
the route which is used for the connections by the backup client is determined by the network configuration. So if you what to connect via a specific interface, make sure the backup server is reachable via this interface and its hostname/domainname is resolved to the PBS IP for that network.

In order to set static routes, you can use ip route add ..., see e.g. https://access.redhat.com/documenta...ec-configuring_static_routes_with_ip_commands
