IOMMU group isolation in new installation

Hi,
I have proxmox installed which is 7.2. Initially it was 7.0 and later upgraded to the newer version. I isolated the IOMMU group using some instructions which I cannot recall now. The IOMMU group isolation perfectly works there.

Now I freshly installed 7.2 on a new USB drive in the same machine but this time I cannot isolate the IOMMU group using the instructions found in proxmox wiki. I have tried many other instructions found on the internet but none of them work.

I have backup of my old installation which I can work with but I really want to know the differences of the two configurations. Is there anyway to identify the differences of the configurations?

Hi, can you post the output of 'dmesg' from both installations ?

Sounds like pcie_acs_override to me, which breaks ACS, IOMMU groups and proper PCI device isolation but enables fine grained PCI passthrough.
