[SOLVED] Invalid argument when making bootable during UEFI installing on Dell R720xd

I am trying to install Proxmox VE 7.0 on Dell R720xd. The OS disk is a Samsung SATA SSD connected to an LSI 9212 HBA card in IT mode. Everything in the installer seem to go smoothly except for the last step which is installing grub. It always stuck on this error:

I tried to manually add the boot entry with `efibootmgr` but it prompts the same error which is just "Invalid argument". I wonder if I can solve this, or I must go back to Legacy booting. Thanks.
 
Tried to upgrade the BIOS to 2.9.0 from 2.4.3. Afterwards the installer seem to finish its job but when attempted to boot the BIOS lists Proxmox as "unavailable". Still trying to figure things out...

@whc2001 Try NVRAM Reset with onboard switch, this helped for me with R620 Server
