Hello,
After installing my first Proxmox server, I encountered a few issues several weeks after installing TrueNAS Scale. Initially, TrueNAS lost access to the internet outside my home network (I could ping other devices on the same network but was unable to ping external addresses like 8.8.8.8). This issue was resolved by restarting the VM in Proxmox.
However, after that, I encountered another problem: TrueNAS booted up without the web UI and all other apps. I suspect that the entire networking stack was down (even within the home network). After a few more reboots, it started working flawlessly for about ten minutes, but then it failed to connect to the DHCP server and couldn’t be reached otherwise.
Another issue I experienced was that everything seemed to work perfectly except for the router's ability to forward packets outside the network. I could access the internet (e.g., pinging google.com worked), but I couldn’t forward the web UI. After a restart, this issue was temporarily resolved.
These problems have been occurring intermittently over the past few months. In the meantime, I disabled the firewall because the system wouldn’t work at all with it enabled (in the bridge settings).
I also tried creating a new bridge specifically for this machine, but it didn’t help.
Could you please help me? I’m just starting with Proxmox, and things aren’t going very smoothly. .I hope I have provided all the necessary information.
