I'm quite new to both debian, and proxmox but I'm enjoying getting started. I'm using proxmox on a Lenovo w500 which has Intel 5100 AGN wireless card.
When I do not need to use proxmox in terms of running virtual images and just want to use the base OS debian lenny for writing code and normal tasks I'd like to be able to use the wireless card as described: http://wiki.debian.org/iwlagn
Is there anyway of installing this wireless card without changing my 2.6.24-9-pve kernel?
Thanks for helping me learn,

on http://nanonanonano.net/linux/debian/iwlwifi it states that
The iwlwifi driver is merged into the mainline linux kernel for 2.6.24 and will be in Debian kernels from 2.6.23.
