Intel IGB Driver and Proxmox

Hello all,

I am trying to determine the version of the Intel IGB driver that comes with Proxmox. When I list the driver for the my 4 port I350 network adapter I see the version is listed as 6.8.12-2-pve, which is not what I would have expected. The latest version of the driver is 5.17, according to the Intel website. Does anyone have any experience in updating the IGB driver on Debian?
