Just wanted to jump in here and see if anyone else is testing with the Intel E610 10gig card. I have two of them and they are soo much cooler than the X550 variants but come with alot of compatibility issues in my array of Thinkcentre Tiny devices. First off I cannot seem to get the card to be seen in the Proxmox install, unless the PCIe riser card is x4. This is the only one that works for me. I have tested by the x8 and x16(wired x8) riser cards and they do not see the card at all.
For the life of me I would love to understand why this is. I have heard that the PCIe lanes are allocated differently, based on riser card. I guess that is possible but that sounds like alot of work. Could we just have one riser that works across the board please? Curious if anyone has worked with the E610 and what you observations are.
