Installing Windows 8.1 in OVMF/UEFI mode

So far, I've tried:

-Booting the install DVD
-Creating a bootable virtual disk
-Installing from within windows 10 (Installer fails with "Unable to determine installation choices"
-Installing in SeaBIOS mode then switching the VM to OVMF

In every case I'm not able to boot the media (or in the case of trying to install from within Windows 10, the installer fails with "unable to determine installation choices"). I don't get any sort of error in the UEFI, but hitting enter just returns me to the menu instantly.

I'm not sure why this is, and I haven't been able to find anything from searching google, except that it seems like it should be possible and fairly straightforward.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Try a different ISO, it sounds it might be an issue with your ISO. We tested it with Win10.
