Installing Proxmox VE 9.1 on Asrock X399 Taichi, AMD Threadripper 2990WX Freezing

Hi Group, I am installing my first proxmox ve 9.1 on a Asrock Z399 Taichi motherboard and AMD Threadripper 2990WX cpu. I have a 128gb ram Installed. I have installed the brand new M.2 WD Black SN7100 SSD 500GB drive. I tried selecting all options Graphical, Textmode and even Debug mode but after running one screen, the screen froze and it doesn't move. My motherboard is on the latest BIOS. On the same PC I had ESXi 8.0 running for many years but on a Samsung M.2 drive. Any idea what could be wrong/
