Installing proxmox on a tablet for Legacy emulation on UEFI.

I recently got a Windows tablet that can only boot with UEFI.
I want to install some operating systems that only supports legacy boot on that device, but later learned that emulating legacy on UEFI without hardware CSM support is impossible.
So I tried experimenting with some type-1 hypervisors such as proxmox and Vmware ESXI.
Vmware ESXI can only passthrough dedicated GPUs and can't even recognize the touch screen at all.
I heard that proxmox have better compatibility with integrated graphics and some other devices so I tried that next.

But now I'm stuck at this weird error: unable to get device for partition 1 on device: /dev/mmcblk1

I tried formatting the drive with ext4 using Windows PE then install proxmox. I also tried leaving the disk blank and unformatted. Both gives me the exact same error.

I'm using the current latest version of proxmoxVE, v8.3. The model of the device is: Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3.

I guess that's probably because proxmox is never made to run on laptops and tablets. It's for large server computers. So what else can I do here? Can anyone here help me with this situation?

By the way, the proxmox's installer is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise for some reason. I have no idea why that happened.

My advise is to try your luck with installing a current Debian. If you can make everthing functional there, then Proxmox can be installed as additional package later on.

Would LMDE 6.0 work?
Also how can I rotate the proxmox installer 90 degrees clockwise so it's a lot more comfortable for me. Currently the installer is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise on my tablet for some unknown reasons.

It is Debian based, so it could/should work.
You will need to add a rotate parameter to kernel boot. So instead of selecting an option in boot menu, press 'e' for edit.
There is somewhere a vga parameter in it, just add, without whitespace, ,rotate=90 so it is like vga=791,rotate=90
The number 791 is just an example

I have tried LMDE 6 already, that thing works perfectly fine on that tablet. But I still couldn't install proxmox.
It's the exact same error as I described earlier.

Also, do you know any other method to emulate legacy boot on UEFI without CSM?

This was not what I meant. :)
PVE can be installed on top of an existing Debian installation. Just like any other packaged application.

It would be similar to native installation, so yes, it should work. Can't guarantee anything, of course, I am missing a Windows Tablet for testing.

I think this approach is actually better than installing proxmox directly because I now have firefox to configure proxmox and I no longer need a second device to complete the setup procedure.
Also installing proxmox directly would mean I'll have to wrestle with wireless network on proxmox to finally be able to open up the configuration page and finish the setup process.
So, where can I get the .deb packages?

I think this is way too complicated. Is there any other method I can use to emulate Legacy BIOS on UEFI? (No CSM)
BIOS and UEFI are totally different, there is no reasonable way to use a BIOS boot on a UEFI system without CSM.
