I have a problem, which I though I can manage, but I'm stuck right now.
I don't a lot knowledge in IT but as an amateur I'm using Proxmox for a year now and I'm very happy with it.

The task:
I need to establish a connection between LCX containers of a node (PVE A) and and a (PVE B) which are actually not nativly wired connected .

Actual circumstances and ressources:

- (PVE A) is a t a location where no wired internet is provided. But there is LTE Internet and I have a SIM-Card, an old smartphone and orded a LTE Surfstick.
- (PVE B) is connected to the internet behind a Fritzbox Router (FB). (FB) has Wireguard on Board.

I figured out two possible Approaches:

(1) (PVE A) <---usb_tethering ---> smartphone <---- vpn LTE --------> (FB) <-----wired----> (PVE B)
On this apprauch I almost spend a couple of hours, but didn't
On the phone I established a vpn connection through LTE with Wireguard to the FB which works fine an the phone can connect to (PVE B). The usb-tethering between the phone and the machine where PVE A should run is also fine (USB Debugging enabled, the apps "Every Proxy" and "PDANet+" are installed.
I tried to install PVE on this setting
- selected the USB connection as network and
- the phones IP as gateway and as DNS- server.
- Additionally I choose an IP which fits into the home-network of the Fritzbox.

But after the installation I was not able to connect to the (PVE A) nether from the phone (via IP:8006 on the Browser) nor was PVE A inside the network of the Fritzbox
So maybe I made some mistake, or this approach is not going work. Has anybody a hint?

So I came up with a second idea of solving the problem.

(2) (PVE A) <---------------------------------LTE Surf stick via vpn -----------------> (FB) <----wired----> (PVE B)

I ordered a Surfstick and want to connect the PVE A directly to the internet. While I'm waiting for the delivery of the stick I'm thinking about how to install Proxmox when there is no Router or DNS gateway. Theoratically I can install Debian first, setup the connection and then install Proxmox on top of the Debian. I don't have experience with this and maybe this is even more difficult, so I decided to ask more experienced people who can prevent me from trying thing that are supposed to fail.

Maybe my mistalke is to try to set up the connection during the installation process and it better so normaly setup Proxmox inside my homenetwork and configure the connection later. So if thats the case, don't hasitate to teach me a better way.....

So I'm grateful for every help and hints.
