Installation issues init ESP

Hello, I've been trying to install proxmox 8.3-1 on my new to me R740xd with idrac9 enterprise but i keep getting error messages at the end of the install and can't figure out what the root cause is. I've tried virtual installs from a file on my network and a handful of different USB installs configured with etcher but the same error keeps popping up at the end of the install.

Hi,
if you provide details about available storage system in server and which choices you made regarding storage/filesystem in the installer somebody might be able to give an advice eventually.
You can also try to install plain Debian and then install Proxmox VE software package on top.

The server is a dell r740xd with 3x4TB seagate exos sas drives and an HBA330 mini card. I have wiped everything on the server clean again. i've tried installing with zfs z1 and regular zfs option. I have the boot set to uefi and as mentioned i've tried installing it from several different usb sticks and I have also tried installing from a virtual network using the iso on my pc. All produce the same error result above with the installation failing.
