Hi!

I'm trying to install proxmox 5 but it fails right after the install is trying to find an DHCP. It fails with the message "installation aborted unable to continue"

I have tried to run the install with debug mode but it makes no difference.

I'm using 2gb USB stick as my install medium and my hardware is a ASRock Q1900-ITX with Intel Celeron J1900 processor, 16gb of ram and a 120gb ssd drive.

Any one got any tip on how I could proceed?

I eventually got it to work after many reboots. However the X11 no longer adjusts to the correct sizing for the HDMI connection making the installation a bear.

I have the same issue, right after DHCP fails (because I don't have a network yet) it says installation aborted. But I don't have an option for UEFI, server I am using is a Tyan Thunder n3600qe. It does not support UEFI.

Hi i had a similar problem with an old Asus KFSN5-D/IST dual socket Opteron Server Mainborad with integrated GPU. The fix for me was to run the Proxmox installer with an external GPU and i removed it after installation. So far no further issues.
