Install Failure on newer hardware (Solved with BIOS Update)

I downloaded the 8.4-1 iso and used rufus to make the USB bootable. I did this with some older hardware, was sucessful, and now wanted to upgrade my hardware.

I have a beelink pc, core ultra 9.

I am repeatedly hanging -
EFI boot mode detected, mounting efivars file system.
I can't get through the install -

Any suggestions?

I also get a grub error:
no such device /.disk/info
no such device /.disk/mini-info.

Getting an ACPI BIOS error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\SB.UBTC.RUCC], AE_NOT_FOUND)

Updated to 204, a newly released BIOS, install worked fine.
