Install fails.

My googling seems to show it is related to my install using the Intel IGD from the i7 6700k cpu for the monitor.

Anyway around this?

I am installing from the usb but I do have a dvd drive in the box.

Proxmox VE 4.4 ISO Installer is what I used.

Well, crap. I was using Rufus...

Since you brought it up I googled it..... let me try this process.

Glad to hear it. I'm always amazed how it's the year 2017 and the whole "install from external media" thing is still such a headache.

Little odd I couldn't use Rufus. There should be some flashing red warning when you download it or even some kind of error message in the failed installer. The only error I saw was unrelated it seems.

I will saying if you didn't reply I would have given up. I had VMware loaded on the box but wiped it for proxmox.

Now to figure out how to use all the hard drives in the box and do a PCIe passthrough. I am trying to build a KVM gaming rig with a larger file share. Some side KVMs will be network related, like windows server and Cisco vWLC, etc...

i had the same problem, i solved with rufus and DD image mode when i created the bootable usb.
