Hello. I have a problem with my Proxmox environment. My Proxmox host crashed and now i get this input/output error while trying to access /dev/mapper/pve-root on boot. I get dropped to busybox shell and get the same error when trying to fsck or fsck.ext4. vgscan does not show anything, booting to a live environment does not help my cause since dev/mapper is not present on a live boot and /etc/lvm/backup is not present either. Am i cooked?

Consumer SSDs handle power loss quite badly when they are actively writing or trimming, so maybe you are. Reinstall and restore from backup might be the simplest approach.

There is no concrete information or error message that would allow people here to interpret the problem and suggest possible options for you.
