Hi All, having a tough time. So I installed ProxMox on a dual LGA 2667 setup, got it working on the server. I go to the webaddress, it tells me host unreachable. So I go into my unifi gateway, allow port 8006 communication and reset the gateway. Now I get a connection refused. Is there something im missing here for being allowed to connect? The proxmox server and my computer are on the same VLAN, so there isn't any issues there.

Quick Edit: the ip address without the port gets me to the supermicro login, but with the port I get the connection refused. The cord is good as it was just being used with another device I had unplugged a few days prior.

I guess with Supermicro login you mean the BMC of the server?
That means that the IP address is used by the BMC, not Proxmox VE itself. Thus you cannot reach the web interface of Proxmox VE.

Is the network port on the server shared between BMC & OS? (Which is an option for some enterprise hardware)
Or are they separately connected?

What IP address did you set during installation? This must be of course a free address not used anywhere else.
