I've been working with PVE now for a bit over a month and I really like it and want to support development with a community sub. I'd love to do the same for PBS, but an annual €560 is too pricey for something I just use personally as a hobby. If there was another option at a lower cost, closer to PVE's community sub, I'd be able to swing that. I know you've got a business to run and have looked at the economics, but I figured I'd drop a note here anyways.

just buy an extra pve community sub then and just dont use it if its just about supporting proxmox as a company.
the software itself doesnt care if a sub is actually active or not. functionality is the same (except for access to the enterprise-repo).

It has a statement by a Proxmox developer the gist is that without the nag companys would buy less subscriptions and a community subscription would cannibalice their sales to companys ( since there are too many not totally honest salesmen under them)
