Incorrect information is appearing in the "allocation" tab

I installed the PDM.. but In the "allocation" section
It shows that I have:

CPU Cores assigned
197 running / 96 physical (6 total configured)

Memory assigned
272.865 GiB running / 439.907 GiB physical (12 GiB total configured)

Why does it only show 12GB and 6 configured CPU configured?
Is it a bug, or some incorrect configuration I made in the PVES?
Thanks

Good question, I see that on mine now too. I guess we need someone to explain what exactly does "Configured" mean? Probably not what we think it is.
Look what one of my Remote clusters shows:

CPU Cores assigned 509 running / 524 physical (0 total configured)
Memory assigned 742 GiB running / 1.983 TiB physical (0 B total configured)

I tought I had the answer but I'm not really sure.

here you see a 3 Node Cluster with the following usage:

I would say here, we have a total of 284 Cores allocated to all VMs started and stopped.
And currently there are 144 Cores of 192 running.

This would make sense in my head BUT I also have this small 2 Node Cluster:

And this is quite the opposite of my theory.

I'll look into it how it defines this value.

I just Started a VM on the 2 Node Cluster and the Numbers went down.
Maybe It's the value of the Stopped VM/CT.

Edit: I looked in the Config of those 5 Stopped CTs and they add up to 4GB and 12 Cores.
So it is the resources of the Stopped VM/CT.

I see its not really "total configured" as it says, it should say something like: "not running but configured" maybe?

Absolutely, this would make way more sense.

Looks way better and is more understanding.

How did you change the text in that Allocation box?
It's not permanent, i changed it via Dev-Tools in Chrome.
It was only for show.
Maybe I'll find where this is stored. :)

But I think it's something that should Proxmox do for all Users via Update. :)

yeah, the calculation does not match the label ;) i'd tend to fix the calculation though, since i think it's more interesting to count all cores, no ?

Yes it would make sense to show all configured Cores, Running or Stopped combined. :)

Any idea what the ETA when that gets implemented?
no, the patches have to be reviewed/applied and then we have to bump the package and roll it out, for our regular products this can take days to weeks (depending on other patches/holdups) but my guess is that for the pdm alpha we want to roll out such changes more quickly
