In the mean time while PBS can't backup the node, will Clonezilla make it?

I just be able to migrate vm from ESXi to Proxmox. Success rate not a 100% but it is ok enough for me.

I think that what about If I use Clonezilla to backup whole node as image (just proxmox no VM). Has anyone use Clonezilla to do the job?

PBS can backup the node. Sarch for PVE backup restore in the forum. I wrote a tutorial.
 
Backed my PVE node up with clonezilla before switching to a Debian + proxmox-backup-client.
Really makes it easier when you got a small dedicated mirror of disks just for the system, so you don'T have to backup the guests twice.
