in a pve cluster, start any vm from any pve server

Hello

AFAIK qm start/stop $vmid works only on the server where the vm resides. Is there any console option that can start a vm on the right server ? (if the vm is not on the same server qm start $vmid exits with an error.

Of course with some bash glob & ssh it can be done relative easy, I was curious if this feature is already bultin.

You can use "pvesh" : POST here https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/api-viewer/#/nodes/{node}/qemu/{vmid}/status/start
However, you still need to to use two calls, first one to the cluster to find out where the VM is located, so you can supply the {node} in your requst.
